- Speak to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Toussaint, and ask about the Ursine gear to start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Ursine Gear.
- Clear the rubble behind the collapsed house near the Tufo Vineyard with Aard. Loot the chest inside and read the owner's notes to learn of the Owl Eye Grottos.
- Go to the Owl Eye Grottos and drop down through the cave entrance.
- Kill the giant centipede at the bottom.
- Blast the rock wall with Aard and go through.
- Read the warning the witcher wrote, then follow the symbols on the walls.
- Drop down the ledge by the river and kill the giant centipede there.
