The Manticore Silver Sword is the silver sword of the Manticore set. It is witcher gear from Blood and Wine. The set comes only in a grandmaster tier. It deals 472-576 damage at level 40, with +250 armor piercing. A grandmaster blacksmith crafts it from a diagram at the end of Murky Delve in Toussaint. It comes late in the game, through the grandmaster gear quests around the Gorgon Foothills.
Its bonuses are +250 armor piercing, +50% crit damage, +5% crit chance, +10% chance to cause bleeding and +5% bonus experience from monsters, with 3 rune slots. Only the Relic Ami and the Legendary Manticore Silver Sword have more armor piercing, at +300. The set bonuses point to an alchemy and bombs build.

The Manticore set is medium armor. With 3 pieces, crit chance and crit damage also apply to bombs, and bombs are thrown with no delay. With 6 pieces, each alchemy item gets 1 extra charge. The set has 1 tier, grandmaster at level 40, plus a New Game + legendary variant.
How to Get Manticore Silver Sword
- Find the diagram in Murky Delve, northwest of Seidhe Llygad Amphitheater in the Gorgon Foothills, during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear.
- Unlock a grandmaster blacksmith through Master Master Master Master! in Beauclair, and have the sword crafted.
Manticore Silver Sword Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks Murky Delve, a cave south of the Palace Gardens and northwest of the Seidhe Llygad Amphitheater in Toussaint. The Manticore Silver Sword diagram sits in a small chest beside a vision of the prophet Lebioda at the far end of the cave. It turns up during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear.
- Speak to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Toussaint, and ask about the Manticore gear to start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear.
- Climb the standing tower in the Bastoy Prison Ruins, loot the loose brick at the top and read the prisoner's notes.
- Go to Lebioda's cave southeast of Gélenser Farm and kill the panther at the entrance.
- Search the prayers on the wall furthest from the entrance and read Merten's prayer.
- Go to Lebioda's temple and use Aard to open the hidden room at the far end.
- Defeat the wraith that attacks. Loot the container on the table for the trousers and boots diagrams, and read the Great Beggar's journal.
- Enter Murky Delve. Walk past the two nude women, who are bruxae, and head left deeper into the cave.
- Give each beggar 10 crowns as alms to clear the way. Walking past them brings an archespore instead.
- Kill the kikimore workers and blast the blocked path with Aard.
- Loot the small chest beside the vision of Lebioda for the silver sword diagram.
