Tracker's Boots are medium boots in Common, Master, Magic and Relic variants. The Common, Master and Magic variants give +1% piercing, +1% bludgeoning and +3% slashing resistance. The Relic variant adds +100-350 vitality. The crafted variant is early-game gear at level 8.

The Master variant adds 1 random effect and the Magic variants add 2. The Relic variant gives +3% piercing, +3% bludgeoning and +5% slashing resistance.

How to Get Tracker's Boots

  • Common, Master and Magic: A pair is always found during the treasure hunt Dowry. They are also common random loot and are sold by most base-game armorers or merchants such as the ones in Ursten and Mohrin Village.
  • Magic (crafted): Find the diagram at a random diagram location, or buy it from the same sellers.
  • Relic: Random loot only.

Tracker's Boots Map Location and Quest Guide

One pair of Tracker's Boots always turns up during Dowry, a treasure hunt west of Gustfields Farm and north of White Eagle Fort in Velen. The pin marks the hidden treasure, where a basilisk guards the chest and a dead woman's body.

  1. Go to the hidden treasure spot west of Gustfields Farm, by the river north of White Eagle Fort.
  2. Kill the basilisk that guards the treasure.
  3. Loot the woman's body for a key and an unsent letter.
  4. Read the letter to start Dowry.
  5. Use Witcher Senses to find the chest nearby and open it with the key for the Tracker's Boots.
