Arasaka Waterfront is the port of Watson and a walled corporate island in the middle of a lawless district. It belongs to Arasaka, and anyone who does not work for Arasaka is unwelcome. Hundreds of shipments pass through it every month.
History
Arasaka built the Waterfront as a logistics hub for its operations on the west coast. Shipments are inspected, sorted by automated systems and sent on to corporate warehouses across the country.
To keep Watson out, Arasaka surrounded the port with a wall. It carries motion detectors, electrified razor wire and automated gun turrets.

Life in Arasaka Waterfront
Very little of the Waterfront can be seen from outside the wall, and what goes on inside is not public. Officially the security keeps out gangers, scavengers and nosy reporters.
For a mercenary the Waterfront is a place to break into rather than to visit. Several jobs take V over or through the wall.
What the shipments hold, and what really goes on behind the wall, is unknown. Some people doubt that the wall is there only to keep out gangs, scavengers and reporters.
Notes
The Waterfront is the most heavily guarded part of Watson, so it is worth approaching with care.
