Bring Me the Head of Gustavo Orta is a Gun for Hire gig from Padre. Martha Frakes lies in a coma after a bullet to the head. Her father, Nolan Frakes of 6th Street, blames her boyfriend, Gustavo Orta, a high ranking Valentino. Nolan pays Padre for revenge, and the trail leads to Gustavo's flat on the 32nd floor of a building on Petrel Street.

Story

The Rules

Padre opens the journal with a lesson. The world is built on rules, rules that grew from the blood and mistakes of those who came before. They are meant to protect people, but the young ignore them, believing themselves special and free to tempt fate. Martha Frakes believed the same, and now sleeps in a coma.

The streets say it was her punishment for turning her back on her family, for leaving her father, Nolan, to side with his enemy. But what the streets say does not matter to Nolan. He believes Gustavo alone is to blame, and he is paying. Padre's netrunner has cleared V's access. And in case V had not noticed, Gustavo is a Valentino, Nolan is 6th Street, so V should stay sharp.

The 32nd Floor

The hallway outside Gustavo's flat holds several useful spots. A camera there links to two more inside the flat, handy for a netrunner. A utility closet opens with 9 Technical Ability and holds some loot. The flat's front door opens with 17 Body or a quickhack on the keypad, though forcing it alerts everyone inside. A large shutter opens onto a narrow catwalk outside, which leads to the flat's lower and upper balconies.

Gustavo's Side

If V reaches Gustavo unnoticed, without hurting anyone, he talks. Martha disliked her father and ran away to be with Gustavo. Later, 6th Street ambushed Gustavo's car while she was with him. He came out of the shootout without a scratch, but Martha was caught in the crossfire. Nolan never truly cared about her. He hated Gustavo for taking her, and used her injury as an excuse to have him killed.
