Every Breath You Take is a side job in which Blue Moon of the band Us Cracks asks V to deal with a stalker who has sent her death threats. It opens after Off the Leash, if Kerry Eurodyne and Us Cracks made peace in I Don't Wanna Hear It. Blue Moon walks through Kabuki Roundabout as bait, while V watches the crowd for the stalker.
Story
A Real Problem
The journal says Blue Moon has a problem that no publicist, agent or entourage can solve, because it has real meat on it. It needs someone with a decent brain and a hot gun. Someone loves her, or loves to hate her, and V has to find this person and take them down.
Blue Moon calls V for help. The only clue she has is that the stalker signs the letters "GC". Her plan is to stroll around Kabuki Roundabout to draw the stalker out, so V can catch them in the act and teach them a lesson.
The Roundabout
Right after Blue Moon sets off, V spots a man on the upper level taking pictures of her. He turns out to be only a photographer selling pictures of her, but he can be asked whether he has noticed anything strange. The real stalker is a woman named Griselda Martinez, with a brown ponytail, a green tank top and a pink rabbit backpack. She leans against a wall while Blue Moon talks to V, then follows along the street level, her eyes on Blue Moon.
If V knows about the letters signed GC, V can confront Griselda about her initials, and she attacks. Without that proof, she just walks away when questioned. Followed, she goes into a nearby gun shop, and asked what she is doing there, she panics and attacks. If V does not stop her, she steps out in front of Blue Moon in the middle of a footbridge, ranting, gun in hand, and opens fire.
The Evidence
On Griselda's body, V finds a disturbing diary and a picture of Blue Moon with the eyes cut out. V then talks to Blue Moon about what to do with the stalker.

Every Breath You Take map location:
- Answer Blue Moon's call and ask about the clues. She mentions the letters signed GC.
- Go to the meeting spot at Kabuki Roundabout and wait for Blue Moon.
- Check every level of the roundabout for the stalker if desired, including the photographer on the upper level.
- Follow Blue Moon at a distance. Staying too close makes her call it off and fails the job.
- Scan the crowd and find Griselda Martinez, the woman with the pink rabbit backpack.
- Confront her about the initials GC, or follow her into the gun shop.
- Stop her before she reaches Blue Moon on the footbridge, by knocking her out or killing her.
- Find evidence on her body that V has the right person.
- Talk to Blue Moon.

Choices
The Stalker
V can tell Blue Moon that the stalker should go to prison, or kill her. If Griselda dies, Blue Moon is shaken for a moment, but V can argue that stalking does not carry a life sentence, and the woman would have come back for her.
Failure
If Griselda kills Blue Moon, the job fails. Red Menace, watching from a roof above the footbridge, shoots Griselda, then comes down to mourn her bandmate and blames V. Antagonising her then turns her hostile.
Rewards
Completing Every Breath You Take pays €$ 8,280, 1,152 experience and 1,727 Street Cred.
The job pays eddies, experience and Street Cred. If V saves Blue Moon, she later sends a message of thanks and offers to show V the best clubs of Tokyo, and V can flirt with her in reply.
Tips
A second green marker in the area belongs to Red Menace, who stands guard on the roof of a nearby building.
