Flight of the Cheetah is an SOS: Merc Needed gig from Regina Jones in Northside, Watson. Hwangbo did small jobs for the Tyger Claws, then stole from his own gang, and did it so clumsily his name was all over it. Now he is marked for death, hiding in room 1237 of the motel on Martin Street. Regina has found a nomad smuggler to take him out of the city. V has to get him there alive.

Story

A Classic Comedy

Regina sets the scene in the journal: the classic comedy in which a fool gets into serious trouble and only some grumpy tough guy can save him. That is the plot for today. The fool is Hwangbo. He did some small time work for the Tyger Claws, but instead of keeping his head down and being patient, he took a shortcut and stole from his own gang. Genius. And the whole thing had his name written all over it.

Now he is marked for death and has to disappear, the faster the better. Regina has found a nomad smuggler, but someone still has to get Hwangbo from one end of the city to the other. If he is spotted on the street, the Tyger Claws will know. He is holed up at the motel on Martin Street.

The Escape

Soon after V finds Hwangbo, the Tyger Claws arrive in two cars full of gangers. Hwangbo's own car is parked a short way from the motel. At the meeting point, a group of Aldecaldos waits to smuggle him out. Hwangbo worries whether it is safe to ride with them, but V can put his mind at ease.
