Floor It

Floor It

Class	Vehicle Quickhack

Floor It takes over a car's controls and slams the accelerator down. The vehicle shoots forward at full speed while its driver can barely steer. It can ram a car into whatever stands in front of it. It suits any build with the Carhacker perk. Floor It is a vehicle quickhack that becomes available as soon as V unlocks the Carhacker perk in the Intelligence tree.

Effect

Floor It is a vehicle quickhack. V scans a car and uploads it, and the car's controls are taken over. The vehicle accelerates as hard as it can. Steering becomes very limited, so the car keeps going mostly straight ahead.

The upload takes only half a second. The car therefore launches almost as soon as V picks the quickhack.

Floor It is the opposite of Emergency Brake. Emergency Brake stops a car on the spot, while Floor It drives it forward with little steering. A car aimed at an obstacle can be sent straight into it.

How to Get Floor It Guide

Put points into Intelligence until the Carhacker perk opens.
Unlock Carhacker.
Install a cyberdeck of a high enough tier.
Scan a vehicle and choose Floor It.

Upgrades

Floor It unlocks with the Carhacker perk. Its availability follows the tier of the installed cyberdeck. A higher tier deck therefore opens more vehicle quickhacks.

Character Builds

Floor It needs the Carhacker perk, which sits in the first tier of the Intelligence tree. The quickhacks Carhacker unlocks depend on the tier of V's installed cyberdeck. Queue Acceleration lowers the RAM cost of quickhacks used on devices and vehicles.

Emergency Brake, Take Control and Self-destruct are the other vehicle quickhacks. Take Control lets V drive the car remotely. Self-destruct blows the car up.

Lore

Floor It belongs to the vehicle quickhacks that the Carhacker perk opens up. These quickhacks let a netrunner take remote control of a car, set off its alarm or even blow it up.

Notes

Steering stays limited for as long as Floor It is active.
