Megabuilding H4 is a megabuilding in Arroyo, Santo Domingo. It is still under NCPD quarantine because of a plague. It was once the home of David Martinez and his mother Gloria.
History
A Slow Start
A local business group pushed the city to build a megabuilding in old Heywood. The council agreed, but the project kept falling down the list until the group's pressure finally got work started. When the lower floors were finished, residents started moving in and opening their own businesses. A cartel used the chance to set up a few front shops.
The lower levels soon filled with labourers and engineers who worked on the tower itself or in the nearby industrial zone. A change of leadership in Santo Domingo slowed the building work for a while.
The Rat Kings
A youth gang called the Rat Kings was born in the tower. They were angry at being packed into one giant building with no proper help, and they caused trouble all over the unfinished floors.

Inside Megabuilding H4
David Martinez grew up here with his mother before he became a merc. Shortly after he died, the NCPD sealed the tower off because of a plague. The quarantine was meant to last a few weeks, but the building is still closed.
Jobs
A green painted symbol in an alley near the tower hides a braindance in a bin. It starts the side job Over the Edge, which follows the story of David Martinez. The lift up to the flats is used again in the gig Hacking the Hacker.
