Path of Glory is the epilogue of the ending known as The Sun, reached after the raid with Rogue or the secret ending, when V chooses to return to the body at Mikoshi. V wakes up in a penthouse, then heads to the Afterlife to meet a new client. The job ends with V setting out on a raid on the Crystal Palace, a casino in orbit.
Story
The Penthouse
V wakes up in a penthouse. Turning around shows a romantic partner, if V called one from the roof in Nocturne Op55N1, there to say goodbye. Panam is already in the shower. Judy, Kerry or River may join V in the shower. Over coffee in the kitchen, the partner voices worries about where things are going. If no one was called, V wakes up alone.
Before leaving, V can look around. The computer holds messages about the coming job, and Johnny's Samurai jacket hangs on the wall, ready to be worn.
The Afterlife
A flying car piloted by Delamain, depending on choices made in its side jobs, picks V up and flies to the Afterlife. At the bar, Claire offers V a special drink for the coming job. On the secret ending, Rogue is still alive and sits beside V, suggesting a tequila before the big meeting.
In Rogue's old booth, V meets Mr. Blue Eyes, the mysterious man who has been watching from the edges of the story. The job is to steal data on the clients of the Crystal Palace casino.
Into the Stars
The last scene takes place on a spaceship. V switches on the autopilot, puts on a helmet and picks up a pistol. In the airlock, V opens the outer door and floats out into space towards the Crystal Palace. The image matches the tarot card The Sun.
