Playing for Keeps is a Search and Recover gig from Regina Jones in Little China, Watson. Jacob Lamb, a former film director and an old friend of Regina's, makes a living at cards. At an illegal Tyger Claws casino behind the Kashuu Hanten eatery on Clarendon Street, he kept playing to win back his losses, and lost his money, his watch, his wedding ring and finally one of his eyes. He wants the implant back.
Story
The Ex Director
Regina explains in the journal. Jacob Lamb is a director she knows from the good old days, or rather an ex director. Ever since his film Bushido X lost a billion, he has never set foot on a set again. Now he lives off cards. At the Tyger Claws' casino, things went badly, but instead of walking away, he stayed to win it back. First went his money, then his watch, then his wedding ring, and at last one of his optics. As far as Regina knows, the eye is still there. How V gets it is V's business.
The Casino
The eatery is a front for the Tyger Claws' gambling den. The implant is locked in a storage room at the back. A computer there holds a file showing that the Tyger Claws rig the games, using their own implants to beat the gamblers. That is evidence worth having.

The Back Way
- Go to the Kashuu Hanten eatery on Clarendon Street in Little China.
- Take the alley on the right to the back door, guarded by one Tyger Claw.
- Inside, watch for the Tyger Claw around the corner to the left.
- Force the storage room door with Body, or scan it and find the bar staff key on the shelves to the left of the bar.
- Take Jacob Lamb's implant and leave by the back door.
- Deposit the implant in the drop point.
Blackmail
- Read the file on the computer in the back room.
- Leave through the alley and come back in through the front door.
- Show the bartender the evidence and blackmail him into handing over the implant.
- Deposit the implant in the drop point.

Choices
Steal or Blackmail
Stealing the implant keeps things quiet. Blackmail gets it handed over, but the bartender says neither V nor Jacob is welcome there any more. After that, he stops serving V, and may turn hostile if V comes back.
