Protect and Serve is a reported crime in Kabuki, Watson. A computer at the scene proves that the Tyger Claws are paying off NCPD officers. Their latest payment is waiting in a stash for the police to collect, and V gets there first.
Story
Cleaning Up the Streets
The journal is gleeful. This computer proves that the gangs are buying off cops left and right. Something must be done, such as taking the Tyger Claw cash that is sitting there waiting for the police. With no money, there is no corruption. V is just cleaning up the mean streets of Night City.
The Reward
The mails on the computer show the deal. The first tells the officers that Eddie has found a spot to leave their money, with the coordinates and the code to the stash. They are to share it fairly, with no fighting over scraps.
Officer Eddie Pulaski then writes to Michiko Ogata of the Tyger Claws. He calls her his sweet Japanese queen and has an idea. The police could carry her goods around Kabuki in their patrol cars, where nobody would ever look. For a higher fee, of course. Michiko tells him not to get greedy. All he has to do is keep quiet. She adds that Japan never had queens.
