Shape of a Pony

Shape of a Pony
Type Side Job

Shape of a Pony is a side job that starts with a car purchase. After V buys the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet (930) from the AUTOFIXER site, Muamar "El Capitan" Reyes writes that the delivery has gone wrong: the seller has vanished into thin air. The trail leads to an abandoned car park on the outskirts of Arroyo, Santo Domingo, and to a man who looks a lot like Johnny.

Story

Superfan or Superpsycho

Johnny cannot decide in the journal whether to feel flattered or embarrassed. It is a fine line between a superfan and a superpsycho. But only a fool says no to a Porsche 911 Turbo (930), a convertible at that, especially when it is already paid for.

El Capitan explains that his AUTOFIXER service normally delivers the cars, but this seller has disappeared. Once V replies, he sends the car's last known location.

Johnny Silverman

At the car park, there is no sign of the car, only a man's body. As V walks up, Johnny appears and comments on the man's looks. The dead man was an impersonator named Johnny Silverman. On the body, V finds a pair of shards: a conversation between him and El Capitan, and a set of GPS coordinates.

The Wraiths

The coordinates point to a makeshift garage nearby, south of the EBM Petrochem Stadium. There, a group of Wraiths surround the car. Once they are dead, one of them carries the keys.
