The Porsche 911 Turbo (930) is Johnny Silverhand's own car, and V can claim it during Johnny's story with Rogue. It is a small, light classic coupe with a turbocharged engine and rear-wheel drive. Players chase it for its history and its look more than for raw speed, since it is the oldest car in Night City and the one most tied to the story. It is also one of the few real-world car models in the game, so it stands out against the invented makes on every street. V can take the 911 Turbo in the side job Chippin' In, which opens late in Act 2 once Johnny asks to talk to Rogue.
Performance
The 911 Turbo sends its power to the rear wheels only. The car is also very light next to most Night City coupes and sedans.
The in-game car keeps the classic shape but adds future touches. The developers worked with Porsche on the recreation, and the in-game car gains self-driving sensors, cameras in place of mirrors and the ability to run on biofuel.
How to Get Porsche 911 Turbo (930) Guide
- Start the side job Chippin' In by letting Johnny take control of V's body at the Afterlife.
- Follow Rogue to the Ebunike in the Northside docks and fight through to Jeremiah Grayson.
- Spare Grayson for the key, or take it from his body.
- Climb the container crane on the side of the ship, lower the container, then open it with the key.
Porsche 911 Turbo (930) Map Location and Quest Guide
- Start Chippin' In after the meeting with Hanako's proxy, when Johnny asks V to let him talk to Rogue at the Afterlife.
- Take the pills Johnny offers so that he can control V's body for a while.
- Wake up in the motel and wait about a day for Rogue to call.
- Meet Rogue at the Afterlife and ride with her to the Ebunike Docks in Northside.
- Fight through the dock and board the Ebunike.
- Defeat Jeremiah Grayson and his guards on the ship.
- Spare Grayson for the container key, or kill him and take the key from his body.
- Go to the side of the ship that faces the base and climb the ladder up the container crane.
- Press the button at the top to lower the container to the deck.
- Climb down, open the container with the key and get into the Porsche.

Lore
The car was built in the late twentieth century, and Johnny tuned and customised it to his own taste. He cruised Night City in it for years, and it was also the car he drove while he was dating Rogue Amendiares.
After Johnny died, a former firefighter named Samantha Stevens recovered the car. She kept it hidden in cold storage in her garage for more than a decade, which is why it is still in pristine shape. Adam Smasher later took Johnny's belongings from her place, and the Porsche ended up locked inside a cargo container on the Ebunike, a container ship in the docks of Northside. Smasher's man Jeremiah Grayson holds the key to that container when V and Rogue storm the ship.
The in-game Database calls the 911 Turbo an all-time classic and one of the most iconic cars in automotive history. It says only a handful are left in the world and each is worth its weight in gold. It ends with the remark that nobody could ever look as cool behind the wheel as Johnny Silverhand.
Notes
- Either choice with Grayson gives the key, so the car is never lost to that decision.
- A second Porsche, the 911 Turbo Cabriolet (930), is a separate car with its own job.
- A metal plaque on the passenger side of the dashboard bears the signature of the game's senior vehicle artist.
