Beastren Border Entry Permit is a pass for the checkpoint on the border between Vermund and Battahl. It is valid only for beastren, so a human Arisen needs a Beastren Mask to use it.
Captain Brant hands it over at the start of Nation of the Lambent Flame if the spy in The Arisen's Shadow went free or that quest was skipped. Turning the spy over earns the standard Border Entry Permit instead.
A permit allowing the bearer to pass through the checkpoint on the Vermund-Battahl border. Acquired by Captain Brant, its use is restricted to beastrens.
How to Get Beastren Border Entry Permit
- Let the spy go in The Arisen's Shadow, or leave that quest undone.
- Finish Feast of Deception. Captain Brant hands over the permit as Nation of the Lambent Flame begins.
- Show it at the border gate in Checkpoint Rest Town. A human Arisen also needs a Beastren Mask.
Captain Brant gives it to a beastren Arisen as the Nation of the Lambent Flame quest begins.
Beastren Border Entry Permit Map Location and Quest Guide
Nation of the Lambent Flame is a main quest that starts as soon as Feast of Deception is complete. Captain Brant sends the Arisen to Battahl to learn more of the godsway. The permit he gives depends on how The Arisen's Shadow ended.
- Speak to Captain Brant after Feast of Deception and receive a border permit.
- Ride the oxcart from the West Vernworth Oxcart Station to Checkpoint Rest Town, and stay ready for raids on the road.
- Put on a Beastren Mask if the Arisen is human and carries the Beastren Border Entry Permit. Ibrahim's Scrap Store sells the mask.
- Walk up to the border gate in Checkpoint Rest Town. A cutscene shows Phaesus passing through.
- Present the permit at the gate to cross into Battahl.
- Follow the road south. The Pathfinder appears and points the way to The Rockmouse's Burrow in Bakbattahl.
- Meet Menella near The Rockmouse's Burrow and follow her into the tavern.
- Pledge aid to the beastren. Menella hands over a Battahl Residence Permit and the quest completes.
Rewards: 3,200 XP and a Battahl Residence Permit.
