The Ash of War: Ghostflame Call is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Cold affinity and the Ghostflame Call skill. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Ghostflame Call thrusts the weapon out to summon ghostflame. A normal attack follow-up sets the ground ablaze with a trail of ghostflame, while a strong attack follow-up triggers a massive explosion. The ghostflame deals magic damage with frostbite build-up and scales with Dexterity and Intelligence. It suits Dexterity and Intelligence builds wielding swords and spears that want frost and area damage.
Stats
It grants the Cold affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Quality or Magic. The skill costs 15 FP. It fits Straight Sword, Light Greatsword, Greatsword, Colossal Sword, Thrusting Sword, Heavy Thrusting Sword, Curved Sword, Curved Greatsword, Katana, Great Katana, Spear, Great Spear and Halberd.

- Ash of War: Ghostflame Call drops from the Death Rite Bird in the water northwest of the Charo's Hidden Grave Site of Grace.

Skill
Use it at melee range, where the thrust, the ghostflame and the follow-up can all hit the target. Pick the ground trail against groups and the explosion for a single tough enemy. Each follow-up costs extra FP, so the full sequence is fairly expensive.
