The Ash of War: Giant Hunt is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Quality affinity and the Giant Hunt skill. It becomes available in the middle of a run.
Giant Hunt drops into a low stance, steps forward and carries the momentum into a sudden upward thrust. The thrust always deals pierce damage, carries heavy stance damage and launches most humanoid enemies into the air. Hyper armor during the lunge makes it hard to interrupt. It suits Strength and Dexterity builds using spears, great spears, twinblades and large thrusting weapons, and it is a strong roll-catch in PvP.
Stats
It grants the Quality affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 16 FP. It fits Greatsword, Colossal Sword, Heavy Thrusting Sword, Great Katana, Twinblade, Spear, Great Spear, Halberd and Thrusting Shield.

Skill
Launched enemies are left helpless on the ground, which sets up follow-up attacks or another Giant Hunt as they stand. The upward angle also reaches weak points on tall enemies such as trolls and dragons. The thrust can be parried and comes out at a moderate speed, so it is risky against parry-ready players.

Notes
