The Twinblade is a Twinblade in Elden Ring. It can be picked up early, in Limgrave, within the first few hours of a run.

The Twinblade is a sword with blades on both sides of the hilt, hard to wield and demanding of Dexterity; it can be used one-handed, but its real strength comes from two-handed spinning attacks. It sits in a chest in the walled-in cellar at the Dragon-Burnt Ruins in Limgrave, the enclosure without the rats, reached by jumping over a crumbled wall. Its fast, spinning slashes cover a wide area and can stun-lock weaker enemies, while charged strong attacks deal good poise damage. Its requirements are low and it builds blood loss quickly once infused with Blood, making it a strong early weapon to customize. It suits a Dexterity or bleed character from the start of the game.

How to Get Twinblade Guide

Found inside one of the two chests at the Dragon-Burnt Ruins located in Limgrave.
It will be in the basement room without the Rats, reached by jumping over a crumbled wall into an enclosure.

Skill

Spinning Slash costs 6 / 12 FP. The wielder spins the whole body to slash foes in a wide circle, and an additional input adds two more spins. Small weapons spin quickly, while greatswords, spears, halberds and other large weapons use a slower, sweeping version. The skill cannot be parried. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

"Skill favored by dexterous warriors. Slash foes as your body spins. Additional input allows for a follow-up attack."

Suggested Build

Played two-handed for long spinning combos that build status quickly, with a buff or mist Ash of War adding a second damage source.

Stats	Dexterity to 60, then 80, Vigor 50, Mind 20, Endurance 24, Strength 10 to 18; a Blood setup runs Arcane 60 with Dexterity 39
Affinity	Keen for Dexterity, or Blood for heavy blood loss buildup on an Arcane build.
