The Cherishing Fingers is a Finger sorcery in Elden Ring. It is one of the expansion's additions, found in the Land of Shadow.

Cherishing Fingers is a finger sorcery of Count Ymir, the aspiring mother of fingers, who wishes to believe that the dear fingers look after their mother. It raises a ring of hefty fingers around the caster that deals strike damage, staggers anything it hits and deflects every incoming projectile, whether magical or physical, for its duration. Charging widens the ring and turns the stagger into a knockback that throws enemies away. The fingers still erupt even if the caster is interrupted once the staff starts to lower, and the Maternal Staff and Finger Robe both raise its damage. It suits finger sorcery and Maternal Staff builds that want a defensive answer to archers, casters and crowding enemies.

Effect

Surrounds the caster with a ring of hefty fingers that deal strike damage, stagger nearby foes and deflect all incoming projectiles, magical or physical; charging enlarges the ring and knocks enemies away. Each cast costs 20 FP and 20 stamina and takes up one memory slot.

How to Get Cherishing Fingers Guide

Cherishing Fingers lies in the small graveyard on the west side of the Cathedral of Manus Metyr in Scadu Altus, and appears only once Count Ymir's questline is complete.

Talk to Count Ymir at the Cathedral of Manus Metyr in Scadu Altus to receive the Hole-Laden Necklace and a Ruins Map.
Ring the bell at the Finger Ruins of Rhia.
Return to Ymir for the second Ruins Map, then ring the bell at the Finger Ruins of Dheo.
Return to Ymir for the third Ruins Map, then rest at a Site of Grace.
Activate Ymir's throne and climb down the ladder to the Finger Ruins of Miyr.
Defeat Swordhand of Night Anna, ring the bell and defeat Metyr, Mother of Fingers.
Return to the throne, defeat Swordhand of Night Jolán and then Count Ymir, Mother of Fingers.
Take the western exit of the cathedral and pick up Cherishing Fingers in the graveyard.
