The Carian Regal Scepter is a Glintstone Staff in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Liurnia of the Lakes, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Why Players Pick It

's class page names it the best Int-exclusive staff at 68+ Int; 373 Sorcery Scaling at 80 Int and no FP penalty, so it is the choice when Lusat's 50% FP tax breaks your flask economy. Local data: 162 base sorcery scaling at +0, 60 Int, 3.0 weight, +10% to full moon sorceries, and it is the only staff with a native skill. Costs the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Spinning Weapon costs 20 FP. Channel magic into the glintstone to suspend the scepter in mid air and cause it to spin violently. Those it touches will suffer successive magic attacks. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at E, Dex at E and Int at B, so Int is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 8, Dex 10 and Int 60 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round. It also boosts full moon sorcery by +10% on its own, with no infusion needed.

Magic scepter of Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. The glintstone is known as a Carian Blue, enhancing full moon sorceries. Only those of the highest intelligence may wield this, the finest of all glintstone staves.
