The Night Maiden's Mist is a Night sorcery in Elden Ring. It is picked up mid-game, in Caelid.
Night Maiden's Mist is one of the night sorceries of Sellia, originating from the maiden of the Eternal City of Nokron that sleeps beneath the town. It fires a ball that bursts into a silver mist on contact with anything, sapping the life of everyone inside, caster included, with fixed damage that cannot be blocked and ignores defense. Charging widens the cloud without changing its damage, the mist reaches through walls, and spirit ashes and cooperators are unaffected. Because its damage does not scale, it is strong at any level in PvP, especially for invaders forcing opponents to move or for guarding a ladder choke point. It suits PvP casters and anyone fighting in tight spaces where a target cannot easily escape the cloud.
Effect
Releases a silver mist that saps the life of everyone caught in it, the caster included, for about 1,500 damage over roughly 17 seconds; charging enlarges the mist. Each cast costs 20 FP and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Night Maiden's Mist Guide
Night Maiden's Mist is sold by Sage Gowry for 5,000 runes once Millicent has received the repaired Unalloyed Gold Needle. If Gowry dies, the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold sell it for the same price once given Gowry's Bell Bearing.
- Talk to Sage Gowry at Gowry's Shack in Caelid and accept his request.
- Defeat Commander O'Neil in the Swamp of Aeonia to obtain the Unalloyed Gold Needle.
- Give the needle to Gowry, then reload the area and talk to him again to receive the repaired needle.
- Give the repaired Unalloyed Gold Needle to Millicent at the Church of the Plague.
- Return to Gowry and buy Night Maiden's Mist for 5,000 runes.
