The Scaled Armor is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Scaled Set. It is available within the first few hours of a run.
The Scaled Armor was worn by Old Knight Istvan, one of the few wizened Tarnished still alive. Its corroded metal is reinforced with rock-hard scales, making it highly effective against non-physical attacks. The chest piece is heavy with high poise, strong elemental negation and very high robustness. It suits heavy builds that want good all-round protection, obtained by defeating Istvan for the Volcano Manor.
Stats
It offers 33 poise for 16 weight.
Altering
Its altered form, Scaled Armor (Altered), weighs 15 instead of 16 and carries 30 poise instead of 33. Altering works at any Site of Grace.
