The Herbalist Set is a mage armour set for healers in the Nomad Highlands. It strengthens healing, speeds up revives and keeps mana flowing. The Alchemist crafts it, and bosses and chests in the Nomad Highlands drop copies.

Pieces

The tunic gives the biggest healing boost and adds mana. The gloves and boots add more healing. The headwrap and gloves shorten revives, and the pants raise an ally's health after a revive.

How to Get Herbalist Set Guide

The Alchemist crafts every piece. The recipes unlock when the Flame reaches level 4 at a Flame Altar. The main materials are Leather, Linen and Bronze Bars, with herbs such as Sage Leaves and Calla Luna.

Levelling and Upgrades

Every piece starts at item level 15. Each upgrade at the Alchemist costs Runes and adds one item level, more armour and one enhancement, such as extra mana or a level of the Healer skill. A crafted piece is rare and takes three upgrades, up to level 18. A legendary copy from loot takes five, up to level 20, and its last steps also cost Legendary Runes. The same role continues with the Sage Set at level 20.

Lore

The Herbalist descriptions describe a healer who works with plants. The headwrap is cut so the wearer can see, since healing others is surprisingly hard without seeing them. The tunic has widened pockets for healing tinctures. The fingerless gloves let the wearer feel each leaf and root before picking it, for a proper assessment. The plain pants smell of rosemary and thyme. The snug boots are made for dashing to the rescue.

Tips

The Herbalist Set works best in co-op, where faster revives and stronger healing keep the whole group standing. Its pieces raise healing, shorten revives and keep mana flowing for more healing spells. The gloves and headwrap also suit any player who often picks up fallen allies. It follows the Healer Set in the same role for the Nomad Highlands. The Sage Set takes over the role after it.
