Imperial Gardens
Type Place
Region Revelwood
Sub-region -

The Imperial Gardens are the royal district of Pikemead's Reach, in Revelwood. King Gormander tried to rename them after himself and raised a statue of his own likeness instead. He also ordered the statue of his mother, Queen Pikemead, thrown into the sea. His treasure is said to be buried in the gardens. A sorcerer's hidden attic, a graveyard and a riddle in an old house make this the district with the most secrets.

Where to Find Imperial Gardens - Map Location

The gardens lie inside Pikemead's Reach, in the Shroud. Gormander's statue stands in the garden itself, and the graveyard lies to the east of a small plaza. A bridge links the gardens with Pike's Port. The castle, The Pike, is close by.

Quests

Gormander's Imperial Gardens starts from the notes about the king's garden. Gormander's treasure is rumoured to be buried somewhere in the district. Finding it pays a silver chest. The quest Dark Rites also begins here, in a house with a hidden attic used for magic rituals. The trail then leads to Lady Leclair of Glenwood's End, who invented the ritual.

Unique Loot

The four pieces of the Gravedigger Set lie buried in the graveyard of the Imperial Gardens. The set is cosmetic, so it changes the look of the armour without adding stats. The lore note "We Return To Earth Today" from the set A Scattered Legacy marks the graves to dig up. The boots are described as perfect for wading through ash and moldy earth.

Lore Pages

"Gormander Watches Over Us" is a stone tablet in front of the king's statue. It praises his vigilant gaze. On the notice board, "The Pike Weekly: Nothing Grand About Gormander" mocks the statue as stiff as the king's care for the troubles in the north. In "Just One More Embrace", a parent begs the sorcerer to reunite them with a son who fell at the bridge. The sorcerer's attic, behind a breakable bookcase, holds Lady Leclair's "Ritual of Reunion". "Riddle Me This" sits on the top floor of the north-western building, reached by jumping from the next roof. It points to a secret held by brittle bones behind creaking oak.

Other Markers

A Return Beacon in the gardens saves a respawn point and refills the Shroud timer. The A Hidden Room marker belongs to the riddle's lore quest. The hidden room is in the same house as the riddle, and a weapon waits inside.
