The Shanty Shacks are a district of Pikemead's Reach, in Revelwood. Ramone Jones, the editor of The Pike Weekly, hid here from the king's guards in a friend's secret basement. A tavern stands beside the district's Return Beacon. Notes around it tell of a murderous love triangle and a magistrate cursed by the Flame. A gold chest here holds the Guard of the North Boots.

The district lies inside Pikemead's Reach, in the Shroud. The tavern stands next to the Return Beacon, and a Flame Shrine is close by. A south-eastern tower rises above the shacks.

Unique Loot
The Guard of the North Set was once worn by the army of the boss Vorgoth. Its pieces sit in gold chests around Pikemead's Reach, one piece per place. The set hits harder than other armour of its level, but every piece shortens the time a wearer can stay in the Shroud. The boots of the set wait in the gold chest among the shacks.

Chests
A silver chest sits on top of the south-eastern tower, next to a note. A gold chest in the district holds the Guard of the North Boots. Their description tells how Lord Vorgoth boss marched through the snow of Cold Heights to the gates of the city.

Lore Pages
Ramone's notes lie in a small home and in a basement behind a bookshelf. He hid in a room that once belonged to his friend Henry's dead son. He promises Henry that an old sorcerer in the Imperial Gardens can reunite them. In the last note, Henry has not come back, and Ramone has water for only a few more days. Two notes in the ruins tell how Florian plans to poison his wife Helga, while she plans to meet him with a dagger. The third lies on the tavern's top floor, beside a skeleton impaled on a sword. By the Flame Shrine, "Forgive Me, Flame" holds the plea of Magistrate Darius Whick, cast out and turning Hollow.
