Bane of the Undead is the Master Restoration spell against the undead. It sends out a wave that sets every undead within 80 feet on fire. Undead up to level 30 also flee for 30 seconds.

Bane of the Undead is learned by reading Spell Tome: Bane of the Undead. The spell is also taught during Restoration Ritual Spell.

Bane of the Undead map location:
Colette Marence starts Restoration Ritual Spell at the College of Winterhold once Restoration reaches 90 and Good Intentions is complete. She sends the caster to the Augur of Dunlain in the Midden. The Augur's test must be passed with Restoration spells alone. Passing it earns Bane of the Undead.

Gameplay Tips

The Augmented Flames perk in Destruction also boosts this spell, because it deals fire damage.
The Necromage perk makes it turn stronger undead.
