Bear Set
The Bear Set is a Black Forest set that trades safety for damage. Wearing all 3 pieces grants Berserk, which raises your regeneration and your slash damage but makes you easier to hurt.
Berserk gives +30% health regeneration, +15% stamina regeneration and +10% slash and chop damage. In return you take 25% more blunt, slash and pierce damage. That is a fair deal while you are killing Greydwarves, and a bad one the moment something hits back hard.
It sits between the other 2 sets of its tier, above the Troll Set and below Bronze Armor. Each Bear drops 4 hides, so the hides take 4 kills. The real bottleneck is the Bear Trophy the headdress needs, which drops one time in 10.
How to Craft
Every piece is crafted at a level 2 Workbench from:
- 15x Bear Hide: dropped by Bears, and by Viles in the Plains.
- 1x Bear Trophy: dropped by the Bear.
- 2x Bear Paw: dropped by Bears in the Black Forest.
- 8x Blueberries: picked from Blueberry bushes in the Black Forest.

When to Use It
This is early game gear. It needs Black Forest materials, so you make it after Eikthyr and the Antler Pickaxe.
