However hot one face of a Ceramic Plate gets, the other stays strangely cool. You press it from Black Marble at a level two Artisan Table, so its whole supply comes from the Mistlands and the Dvergr ruins that marble is cut from.
How to Get It
Ceramic Plates are crafted, never looted. Mine Black Marble from the Dvergr structures and sunken ruins of the Mistlands with a pickaxe, then press it at an Artisan Table raised to level two by the Artisan Press. The press only unlocks once The Queen is dead, so the plate sits behind the Mistlands boss rather than behind the biome itself. Black Marble cannot go through a portal, but the finished plates travel through one without trouble.
