A Dragon Egg weighs two hundred units and hums faintly in your pack, which makes it one of the heaviest things in the game. You find them in Drake Nests on the high peaks of the Mountains.
Production
Offer three of them at the sacrificial altar on a peak to summon Moder.
How to Get It
You pick an egg straight off its nest without any tool, so the real cost is the journey. Up to three Drakes guard each nest, and the peaks will freeze you without Frost Resistance Mead or wolf gear. Eggs cannot go through a portal and they wreck your stamina, so the usual plan is to find three nests on the same Mountain as Moder's altar and carry them the short distance instead of shipping them home. A taken egg does return to its nest eventually, so a failed trip is not permanent.
Notes
- Dragon Eggs can only be teleported through a Portal Stone, and at 200 weight they are among the heaviest items in the game.
- Up to three Drakes guard each egg, and the Drakes do not respawn.
- Dragon Eggs respawn after being taken.
- There is usually no need to haul eggs a long way or by ship, because they can be collected on the same Mountain as Moder's Altar. The exception is a Mountain with fewer than three eggs, which is rather uncommon.
