Frost Resistance Mead is what makes the Mountains liveable. Each bottle gives ten minutes of warmth, and you brew it entirely from things gathered no higher than the Swamp.
How to Make It
Mix Mead Base: Frost Resistance at a Mead Ketill from ten Honey, five Thistle, two Bloodbags and one Greydwarf Eye. Honey comes from your own Beehives in the Meadows, Thistle glows on the forest and swamp floor at night, Bloodbags drop from Leeches in swamp water, and the eye drops from any Greydwarf in the Black Forest. One base spends two in-game days in a Fermenter and makes six bottles. Besides stopping the Freezing debuff on the peaks, it keeps cold night water and cold rain from draining you, and it reduces frost damage taken.

Notes
- Brew Frost Resistance Mead before the first trip into the Mountain to stop Freezing, because the other common sources of frost resistance need Silver, Fenris Hair or Wolf Pelts, which only come from the Mountain.
- Frost Resistance Mead, the Wolf Fur Cape, the Wolf Hide Chestpiece, the Fenris Coat, the Lox Cape and the Feather Cape all give the same frost resistance, and they do not stack with each other.
