Dragon Tear is what you build the Artisan Table from, the station that unlocks the Windmill, the Spinning Wheel and the Blast Furnace. The only way to get one is to kill Moder on her peak in the Mountains.
How to Get It
Carry three Dragon Eggs to her altar on a Mountain summit, summon her and survive the fight, and she drops ten tears where she falls. Nothing else gives them: no chest, no lesser creature and no recipe. Tears are light and teleportable, so once the fight is over you can portal them straight home. Killing her again on another Mountain drops another ten, should you ever want a second workshop.
