Harvested Flax is useless until something spins it, and that is the whole purpose of the Spinning Wheel. This Crafting Stations piece is built from 20x Finewood, 10x Iron Nails and 5x Leather Scraps. It works away in the corner of a hall, turning Flax into the Linen Thread behind every piece of Plains-tier armour.

How to Build It

It takes twenty Finewood, ten Iron Nails and five Leather Scraps, and this one is not a Workbench job: it has to be placed inside the range of an Artisan Table. It only needs the table to go up, not to keep running, so once it exists you can leave it where it stands even if the table moves. Load it with Flax and walk away, because it drops the thread on the floor as it finishes each batch.
