The Fenris Set only pays out its blessing of fire resistance, quicker legs and heavier fists once the Fenris Leggings join the hood and the coat, and that is why the frost caves of the Mountain are worth stripping bare. The leggings have 10 armour, or 16 fully upgraded, and rank 10th among leg pieces. Worn with the rest of the Fenris Set, they are part of a 30 armour rating, which turns a 100-damage hit into 70.
How to Craft
You craft them at a level 2 workbench from:
- 20x Fenris Hair: Found in the frost caves of the Mountain.
- 5x Wolf Pelt: Wolves in the Mountain drop it.
- 10x Leather Scraps: Boars and bats drop them, and you can dig them out of muddy scrap piles.
| Name | Image | Biome | Crafting Station | Spawn ID |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fenris Hair | Mountain | - | spawn WolfHairBundle
| |
| Wolf Pelt | Mountain | - | spawn WolfPelt
| |
| Leather Scraps | Meadows | - | spawn LeatherScraps
|
When to Use It
This is mid game gear. You can make them once you reach the Mountain, the biome that follows Bonemass, where Fenris Hair comes from the frost caves and Wolf Pelt from the wolves.
Upgrades
You can upgrade them 3 times after crafting, and each level needs the station built one step higher than the last. The base stats are for quality 1, so this is the ladder your own pair is somewhere on:

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Workbench (Level 2) | 10 | 1000 |

| 2 | Workbench (Level 3) | 12 | 1200 |

| 4 | Workbench (Level 5) | 16 | 1600 |

- +3% Movement speed
- Fenris Set bonus:
- +15 Fists
- Resistant (0.5x) vs Fire
Notes
- Movement changes from chest and leg pieces add up: the Fenris Leggings and the Fenris Coat each add 3% movement speed, while a full heavy set slows you by 10%.
- Armor lowers physical, fire, frost and lightning damage, but poison and spirit damage go straight through it.
- Each upgrade level adds 2 armor.
