Leather Scraps go into half the furniture in a starter hall and nearly every first piece of armour. They drop from the Boar that graze the Meadows.

How to Get It

Boar are the steady supply, and all they ask for is a club and patience. The chests scattered through the Meadows hold scraps as well. Later they come to you without hunting: Bats in the frost caves of the Mountains drop them often, and muddy scrap piles in the sunken crypts of the Swamp drop them alongside Scrap Iron when you break the pile with a pickaxe. If you would rather farm than hunt, tame a pair of boar and pen them for a supply that never stops.
