Skinned from the Wolves that hunt the snowfields of the Mountain, Wolf Pelt is the hide a Viking wears against the cold he has just walked into.
How to Get It
Kill wolves in the Mountain and take the pelt from the body. No tool tier gates it, only survival. The biome freezes you steadily, so you need a Frost Resistance Mead or a fur cape before you start hunting. Wolves run in packs and grow bolder at night, which is when the pelts come fastest, and the deaths too. You can also tame wolves and breed them in a pen, which turns a dangerous hunt into a renewable supply. Pelts go through portals, so nothing has to be sailed home.
