Fenris Set
This is the only set in the game that makes you faster: every piece gives +3% movement speed, 9% in total. Wearing the full set adds fire resistance and 15 levels of Fists.
With 30 armour it sits well under Wolf Armor of the same tier, and the speed is what you get instead. Its 9% forward against Wolf's 10% back is a 19-point swing between two sets from the same biome. It is the dodge-and-run set and the unarmed set, and nothing else in Valheim is either.
Fire resistance is the practical half. It holds up against Surtlings and the Ashlands long after the armour figure has stopped being enough, though it does not stack with Fire Resistance Barley Wine.
How to Craft
Every piece is made at a level 2 workbench, from:
- 60x Fenris Hair: Found in the frost caves of the Mountain.
- 12x Wolf Pelt: Wolves in the Mountain drop it.
- 1x Cultist Trophy: The cultist drops it.
- 20x Leather Scraps: Boars and bats drop them, and you can dig them out of muddy scrap piles.

When to Use It
This is mid game gear. You can make the set once you reach the Mountain, the biome that follows Bonemass, where Fenris Hair comes from the frost caves, Wolf Pelt from the wolves and the Cultist Trophy from the Cultist.
