Pufferfish patrol the water just off the Mistlands shore, and they ignore an ordinary hook.
How to Get It
You need a fishing rod and misty fishing bait. The bait is made at a food preparation table from twenty ordinary fishing bait and a lox trophy, so you have to clear the Plains before you fish the Mistlands. Cast from a boat or off the rocks along the Mistlands coast, and play the fish in rather than reeling flat out. The catch is not food as it is: clean it back at the food preparation table, and a bigger fish gives more.
Quality
Fish do not carry stars. Instead each fish has a quality from 1 to 5, rolled when it spawns. In most waters there is a 20% chance to step up a level, and in the Ashlands and Deep North that chance is 15%. A higher quality fish is visibly larger and heavier, and it cleans into more raw fish at a food preparation table.
Notes
- A Pufferfish deals poison damage to anyone who gets too close. If one jumps into the boat, pick it up right away, because it cannot poison anyone once it is in the inventory.
- It has a line of its own: "Have you seen my friend around? Her name is Anika."
