Feasts, doughs, baits and Raw Fish all start at the Food Preparation Table, a Crafting Stations bench built from Iron, Finewood and Leather Scraps. It cooks nothing itself. Instead it turns ingredients into the uncooked dish that then goes into an oven or onto a fire.

How to Build It

It costs 5 Iron, 20 Finewood and 15 Leather Scraps, and you place it inside a Workbench radius. The iron puts it behind a Swamp trip, so most builders add it at about the same time as a Stone Oven. The two are worth placing side by side, since nearly everything prepared on the table goes straight into the oven afterwards. It is mostly wood, so give it a roof rather than leaving it out in the weather.
