Fort Ussar Ruins are the ruins of a fort in eastern Toussaint, east of Ardaiso Quarry. A pair of slyzards nests here, a young one and its mother. The ruins are a fast travel signpost.

History
In the contract Bovine Blues, a cow falls from the sky onto a worker at Ardaiso Quarry. A young slyzard had been carrying it home to its nest. Geralt follows the wounded beast's blood trail to these ruins. Its mother joins the fight, and Geralt kills them both. He can then burn their nest and eggs.
The ruins are also the first stop of the Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Griffin Gear. A crate under the stairs holds the first diagrams of the set. The hunt began long ago, when a witcher named Jerome was summoned to Fort Ussar. The monster contract was only a trick. His own father had set it up to win his son back.
