The Night of Long Fangs is a main quest of Blood and Wine. Three days pass, and Geralt and Regis find no trace of Dettlaff. Syanna never comes to meet him, so Dettlaff makes good on his threat. A plague of vampires falls on Beauclair. Geralt must now choose how to end the crisis. He can seek peace by freeing Syanna, or he can force Dettlaff into a fight.
The Night of Long Fangs Quest Guide
- Kill the bruxa that attacks during the audience with the duchess.
- Talk to Regis and choose to seek Damien or Orianna.
- Make the way through the city, killing the vampires on the road.
- Save the knight Delwyn of Creigiau from a katakan, if wanted.
- To seek Damien, follow the trail of his unit with Witcher Senses.
- Kill the vampire attacking Damien's unit and talk to Damien.
- If Regis is not along, talk to the birds to tell him where to meet.
- Go to the playroom at the palace and get inside.
- Search the playroom and read the journal on the desk.
- Find the key behind the picture on the wall and open the wardrobe.
- Find the book "The Land of a Thousand Fables" in the wardrobe.
- To seek Orianna, go to her estate and ask her where to find the Unseen Elder.
- Go with Orianna to the orphanage and hear the boy's story.
Choices
Regis hopes to end the crisis in peace. Seeking Damien follows his advice. Damien knows where Syanna is held, and freeing her would meet Dettlaff's demand. Regis comes along on this path. The trail leads to a magic book in the palace playroom.
Seeking Orianna means a fight. Only an ancient vampire, the Unseen Elder, can force Dettlaff to show himself. Orianna knows where to find him. This path leads to Blood Simple. The two paths lead to different endings of the story.
