Balls to the Wall is a Phantom Liberty side job about two young Barghest recruits, Paco Torres and Babs Okoye, who are in deep trouble. It starts at a Barghest post in front of the Black Sapphire in Dogtown. Through drug fuelled "deep dives" into Paco's memories, V relives a convoy job that went wrong as Kurt Hansen, then helps the pair find a way out.
Story
Two Pups
The journal sees two Barghest pups in over their heads, and of course V comes to the rescue. Johnny admits he always had a soft spot for tragedies.
Paco is drinking his problems away by the garrison, with his companion Babs. He tells V about an operation led by Kurt Hansen that went wrong. To make the story vivid, he offers V a deep dive: a drug that puts V into the memory.
Hansen's Memories
In the first dive, V sees through Hansen's eyes. Hansen talks to Yuri Bychkov, then goes down to the lobby where Paco stands, and the two fight with fists. Paco confesses that he has been skimming cargo from the convoy. In the second dive, Hansen rides in a truck driven by Paco when Scavengers attack the convoy, and Hansen fights them off with his revolver.
The Way Out
Back in the present, Paco explains: the convoy carried generators, which he stole and sold. Now he and Babs need advice. V can tell them to frame Yuri for the theft, to leave Dogtown at once, or let V call friends for help.
If they frame Yuri, they arrange to meet under the Needle the next day, where Yuri comes and opens fire. If they leave, Babs stays behind to draw less suspicion, while Paco hides in the boot of a car and V drives him to a spot by the Grand Imperial Mall. If V calls friends, the help depends on the side jobs V has finished: Panam Palmer can smuggle the pair out of Night City, River Ward can supply replacement generators, and Rogue can also be asked.
Balls to the Wall Map Location and Walkthrough

Balls to the Wall map location:
- Find the Barghest garrison in front of the Black Sapphire and talk to Paco and Babs.
- Hear Paco out and accept the deep dive.
- As Hansen, talk to Yuri Bychkov, then go down to the lobby and beat Paco in a fist fight.
- Take the second deep dive and fight off the Scavengers' cars with Hansen's revolver.
- Hear Paco's story and give the pair advice.
- Framing Yuri: meet them under the Needle the next day and defeat Yuri when he opens fire.
- Leaving Dogtown: follow Paco to his car, let him into the boot, drive to the marked spot by the Grand Imperial Mall and let him out. Wait two days for news.
- Calling friends: message Panam, River or Rogue, depending on the side jobs V has finished.

Choices
The Advice
Framing Yuri leads to a fight with him. Leaving Dogtown sends Paco into hiding and leaves Babs behind. Calling friends needs the right side jobs done, and each friend helps in their own way.
Rewards
Completing Balls to the Wall pays 1,832 experience and 167 Street Cred. It also rewards Carmen (depending on choices) and Skill Shard: Solo (depending on choices).
