Inside Clouds
How It Works
A client jacks into the system, and the club scans their fantasies and wishes, even those they may not know they have. The data then goes to the doll best suited to fulfil them. Each doll is controlled by a chip, so they are not aware of what happens in a session, and their memory is wiped every time. Dollhouses serve people with ordinary fetishes, but also the lonely and the painfully shy.
The Club
The ground floor has a reception desk and rows of private booths, each with its own doll. Upstairs are the VIP lounge, the bar, a make up room and the offices of the managers. Weapons are left in a locker at the door. A balcony above the club looks out over Japantown.
Judy Álvarez once worked here as a braindance technician. She met Evelyn Parker, Tom Caldera and Maiko Maeda here, and was in a relationship with Maiko. Evelyn was one of the dolls, and that past ties both women to the club.
Jobs
The search for Evelyn Parker in Automatic Love leads to Clouds in the evening. In Ex-Factor, Judy waits on the balcony above the club. Her later jobs aim to free Clouds from the Tyger Claws who run it.
