Herrera is a Spanish maker of luxury cars, and its cars rank among the most exclusive in Night City. Together with Rayfield, it builds the hypercars at the very top of the market. Its flagship is the Outlaw GTS, a luxury limousine that is still built by hand. The Riptide, its second line, is a sports car. Celebrities and the rich drive Herrera, and everyone else dreams of it.
History
The in-game Database opens the Outlaw's entry with a boast about Spain. A lot has changed in the last century, it says, but not Spain's name for building fine cars. The Outlaw is the proof. It is a luxury limousine and one of the most exclusive and sought-after cars on the market. It blends the latest technology with a classic, refined design.
Herrera's pride is handwork. The Outlaw is one of the few models still built by hand by world-class engineers, and the Database says that gives the car a soul. That kind of quality has a price. The Outlaw is one of the most expensive street-legal cars on the market. Its short description adds that it is a favourite in show business, and that Ziggy Q, the most popular talk-show host, drives one.
Herrera's name works as a byword for wealth in the rest of the game. The Database entry for the Mahir Supron, one of the cheapest vans in the city, opens by saying everyone wants a Rayfield or a Herrera, but not everyone can afford one.
Herrera also shares in Rayfield's CrystalCoat technology. Herrera cars that support it can change their paint job and light colours on demand. The Autofixer netpage marks these cars with a spray can icon.
Vehicles
Herrera builds two model lines, and both mix luxury with speed. The Outlaw GTS drives all four wheels with a strong engine. That gives it grip out of corners and fast acceleration, so it works as a quick all-rounder for racing and everyday driving. It sells on the Autofixer netpage for €$ 92,000 once V's Street Cred is high enough. The Outlaw "Weiler" is an armed custom Outlaw that El Capitan gives V in Phantom Liberty.
The Riptide is Herrera's sports car. The Riptide GT2 is the factory model. The Riptide "Terrier" is a custom Riptide that unlocks through vehicle contracts for El Capitan and sells for €$ 108,000.
