Type Side Job

Next Tune Up

Human Nature is a short side job about V's car. While V lay dead after the heist at Konpeki Plaza, the city went on without V, and the car was towed away. After V recovers, a message says that the Archer Hella EC-D i360 has been returned to the parking garage of Megabuilding H10 in Little China, Watson. It does not stay in one piece for long.

Story

The World Moves On

Johnny gets philosophical in the journal. When someone dies, the world keeps going without skipping a beat, and in time every trace of that person fades away. That is why the car was towed. In his opinion, the best way to show the world V is alive and kicking is to get the wheels back. It is not the most ambitious goal, but for a minor league merc, it is a start.

The Crash

V goes down to the garage and gets into the car. A moment later, a runaway Delamain cab rams it, wrecking V's car. The crash brings Johnny out, and the two exchange a few words. V notices something odd about the cab.

The Apology

When V gets out of the car, a message from Delamain arrives. The company apologises for the incident and invites V to its headquarters in Vista del Rey. Some time later, Delamain writes again to say that V's car has been repaired.
