Many Ways to Skin a Cat is a Thievery gig from Regina Jones in Northside, Watson. Someone is smuggling synthetic leather combat jackets into Night City to dodge a corporate embargo, and the leather ends up in implants made by underground ripperdocs. Regina's client tracked down the shipment: a van full of jackets at the Revere Courier Services warehouse on Martin Street, run by the Tyger Claws.
Story
Leather Jackets
Regina warns in the journal that this is not a usual gig. V has to steal a minibus full of leather jackets. She scratched her head at first too, but the job could not be simpler.
Someone is bringing synthetic leather combat jackets into the city to get round a corporate embargo. The leather arrives as jackets, then goes to underground ripperdocs who use it in implants, which sell at low prices. Quite a supply chain. Regina's client tracked the shipment but cannot handle it herself, so V is her replacement. The van will not move until it confirms the driver's security clearance. And, Regina adds, the warehouse belongs to the Tyger Claws, who use it to launder cash, so they will be prowling around.
The Warehouse
Tyger Claws fill the grounds, and eight cameras dot the area. The van can only be driven once V is authorised as its driver on the computer in the office upstairs.
