The Militech Behemoth is an armoured transport built to move a platoon or a tank through a shelling. Armour plate covers the whole vehicle and every wheel drives, so it crosses ground that stops everything else. It is not sold to the public. Only governments and licensed corporations can buy one, which is why Arasaka runs fleets of a Militech truck. The Behemoth travels with military and corporate convoys.
Performance
All wheels drive through a very strong engine, which is the only way a vehicle this heavy moves at all. It climbs, wades and pushes through obstacles rather than going around them.
The armour holds against small-arms fire. In practice the windscreen behaves like ordinary glass and breaks when shot, whatever the sales text says. The driver cannot use weapons while driving it.
How to Get Militech Behemoth Guide
- Find a military or corporate convoy and take the truck once the escort is down.
Lore
The Database sells it the way an arms company sells anything. The truck is so massive it should have its own postal code, the armour is an inch and a half thick, and the windscreen is said to hold under continuous heavy machine gun fire. Then comes the catch: it is not available to the public.
Militech names its vehicles and robots after creatures from myth. The behemoth is the great beast of the Bible, which is about the size of the claim being made.
Notes
- The windscreen breaks under fire, despite being described as bulletproof.
