Fixers

Rogue

Fixers are the middlemen of Night City. They link clients with mercs, hand out gigs and take a cut of every job. Each district has its own fixer, and doing their gigs earns money, Street Cred and a reward when the last one is done.

What a Fixer Does

A merc can take jobs alone, but after being cheated once or twice, or paid in bullets instead of eddies, a good fixer starts to look like a wise choice. Once a merc proves their worth, the fixer brings a steady stream of work. The fixer picks the crew, agrees a fair price and helps a merc out of trouble on the job, unless the merc caused the trouble.

Fixers are organisers, agents and go betweens. They know the latest word on the street, who pays well and whose jobs are traps. Each one has their own way of working, but they all follow a code of honour: a fixer never leaves their own people hanging. The code works both ways, and cheating a fixer such as Wakako Okada or Padre is a bad idea.

Character Categories

Fixers by District

Regina Jones runs Watson from Kabuki, and Wakako Okada rules Westbrook from her pachinko parlour in Japantown. Dino Dinovic works City Center from his bar in Downtown, Padre covers Heywood, and El Capitan handles Santo Domingo. Mr. Hands deals in Pacifica and Dogtown. Dakota Smith deals with the Badlands from her garage in Rocky Ridge.

The Big Names

Rogue, the queen of the Afterlife, stands above them all. She has run with legends and still cuts the biggest deals in the city. Dexter DeShawn sets up the heist on Konpeki Plaza at the start of the story.

Notes

Each fixer page lists that fixer's gigs in a table, along with a map of where to find them.
