Quadra Turbo-R "Raijin"

Quadra Turbo-R "Raijin"
Class Car
Manufacturer Quadra

The Quadra Turbo-R "Raijin" is the Tyger Claws' take on the Turbo-R coupe. The gang tuned it and dressed it for Japantown, where its paint matters as much as its engine. It drives the rear wheels and weighs little, so it is quick, loose and easy to spin. Drivers who want a street racer with a gang's colours on it take one of these. The Raijin drives with the Tyger Claws in Japantown and Westbrook.

Performance

Power goes to the rear wheels of a very light coupe, so the Raijin changes direction quickly and lets go of its grip just as quickly. It rewards a smooth throttle and punishes a heavy one.

There is little mass to protect the driver, so a hard crash ends it. The tuning work shows in how hard it pulls rather than in how safe it feels.

How to Get Quadra Turbo-R "Raijin" Guide

Lore

Quadra builds the Turbo-R as a light, fast coupe, and the Tyger Claws rework what they can afford to lose. The Raijin is the result, a tuned Turbo-R running in gang hands rather than on a showroom floor.

The name belongs to the god of thunder and lightning in Japanese myth, which fits a car meant to be heard before it is seen.
