Red Ocher is a nomad family that lives near Night City. Biotechnica captured many of its members and used them as test subjects. The experiments killed dozens of them.
History
The tests were part of a Biotechnica project called Nightingale. Dr. Joanne Koch offered the family hush money for their forgiveness, but Red Ocher wanted blood. They went to the fixer Dino Dinovic, who put out a hit on Koch.
One of the survivors, Cedric Muller, later tried to buy painkillers from the Scavengers. They tried to carve him up instead, and he went cyberpsycho and killed them.
