Solo Set is the gear of the mercenary soldier: techgogs, a heavy jacket, a shirt, armour-plated pants and gold-tipped boots. It is the role outfit that matches V's own trade most closely. The pieces are found in Watson, Heywood and the Badlands. Every one is unique.
Set Pieces
Every piece of the Solo Set is listed below with its slot and where it lies.
Where to Find the Pieces
The boots are in a cache at Kabuki Market, the jacket behind a locked gate in The Glen, the pants in a hidden shack under the Wellsprings water treatment plant, the shirt at the Wind Farms in the Badlands, and the techgogs in the Biotechnica Flats.
Heywood holds two pieces. The jacket's gate needs Technical Ability to open.

Lore
Every piece carries the same in-game line, from the legendary solo Morgan Blackhand: "After a few months on the Street, I got into a dustdown with a local Booster lord. I flatlined him and went back to my drink. Within ten minutes, the recruiter from Militech came up to me and dropped a business card... Now I'm a company man."
The set belongs to the family of role outfits. The solo is the role of the hired gun, which is what V is for most of the story.
